Enjoy summer in the Kursaal garden

You can relax in nature every summer in the Kursaal garden, with the "Luc" food truck, Nitro Coffee and a range of drinks on offer for the first time.

In winter, Jean Jacques Blumer, our head of gastronomy, is already starting his organisation. Besides the rosters that always depend on the weather, he also has to plan the menus and drinks. Moreover, he has to add something novel to surprise the guests.

"Luc" food truck

This was the first year of the food truck "Luc" in the Kursaal garden. Luc supplies authentic Vietnamese rolls (with prawns or vegan with tofu), noodle soup and baguettes. The food is also available to take away. You can wash it down with a homemade Asian lemon grass, ginger or apple ice tea.

Nitro coffee – single estate coffee

If you prefer coffee to tea, you need to try our cold brew coffee: nitro coffee on tap. Our version is an unmixed coffee from a farm, known as single estate coffee. It comes from Maytama farm in Columbia, which identifies strongly with sustainability and refrains from using herbicides or insecticides.

Our nitro coffee is brewed cold by hand in the Blasercafé roasting plant and infused with nitrogen. That is how it attains its creamy sweetness without sugar or sweetener. Moreover, cold brew coffee contains a lot less acid and almost zero bitter compounds as it is carefully prepared in cold water. That makes it more aromatic and easier on the stomach than conventionally brewed coffee.

Signature summer drink

Summer is also in evidence on the drinks list: each bar employee has created a signature drink for those balmy summer evenings. For example, there is the ginger shot by bar boss Timo, the 24k Gold Margarita by Charles, Goldensummer by Helena or the Solero Drink by Emile.

The Kursaal garden is now set up and ready to receive guests. All we need is some sun.
