Get to know Marta Rovira Carbonell and her wine rarity from the Mas d'en Gil winery.

Her family runs Mas d'en Gil in Priorat, one of the oldest and most historic wineries in the protected wine-growing region of the highest quality (DOQ). Extremely steep slopes and slate soils characterize this breathtaking landscape, where viticulture has been practiced for centuries.

Experience selected wines from Mas d'en Gil with us. To mark the 150th anniversary of the winery, two of its top wines, Coma Blanca and Clos Fontà, have been awarded the highest quality level of the Priorat "Vin de Finca".

Marta Rovira Carbonell is the fourth generation to work on the winery. She introduced organic farming, replaced international grape varieties with local ones and runs a small-scale wine tourism business.

On this evening, she has a real rarity for people who love wine: the Gran Buig Priorat DOQ 2016. This wine is only produced in the very best years. This has only been the case three times so far: 1998, 2004 and 2016. You will be surprised by the other wines Marta Rovira Carbonell will present to you and the delicacies you can look forward to.

Our head chef Janic Mühlemann will create an exclusive 4-course menu for you to match the fine wines.

Marta Rovira Carbonell and the Kursaal Bern team will welcome you in the spring garden of the Giardino Restaurant & Bar to kick off this exclusive evening. Start the exciting evening there with an aperitif. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere while chatting with the winemaker and other guests.

After a few steps, you and Marta Rovira Carbonell will be in the private dining area of the Giardino Restaurant & Bar. This elegant and stylish room is the ideal setting for this top-class wine and dine experience. In an almost private atmosphere with a maximum of 12 people at one table, the wine expert will tell you exciting and interesting facts about her Mas d`en Gil winery. Exchange ideas with the winemaker and the other guests over a 6-course menu specially created by Culinary Head Chef Janic Mühlemann to complement the fine wines.

Marta Rovira Carbonell has brought along a Gran Buig Priorat DOQ 2016 as the highlight of the wine tasting.

A digestif and coffee to round off the entertaining and exciting evening.
